Wallpaper is no longer just considered
the stuff that’s impossible to remove from your walls; it has become something
far more useful than that! I’ve seen wallpaper popping up all over the place,
including as art, on ceilings and even on furniture. Here are some great ways
I’ve seen wallpaper being used around the web:

If you want a little design in a room but don’t want to go all out, think of the ceiling as an accent wall. You can put a bold wallpaper on the ceiling and leave the walls a simpler shade. Or you can do as above and blanket the walls and ceiling with a pattern you love. If you want to see more great ceiling wallpaper examples, be sure to check out my pinboard.

I think shelving is a really neat place to put wallpaper.
Like the ceiling, it’s a smaller commitment than papering an entire wall. This
can add pops of color or design while staying somewhat hidden.
Now that you’ve seen some of these
thrifty ways of using wallpaper, where would you dare use it besides a wall? Do
you have any other suggestions that I haven’t included? I’d love to hear from
you!
